Positive: The location is perfect. The hotel is very posh and everyone is very nice. The breakfast room is amazing and the breakfast itself has so many fresh fruits. I loved it. Truly recommend this hotel for that! The room is clean and comfortable and they have Guerlain soap and hand cream (never seen this lately, not even in more expensive hotels). We had coffee and water for free and some treats - very nice touch.
Negative: Rooms are smaller than I expected and the flooring was a bit stained (don't imagine something bad, everything is very light in color, maybe that's why). Due to the fact there is the city center the view is also not present in most rooms. We were given an upgraded room, but the view was to the upper terrace flooring (stones and bushes in the pool area). A bit strange, but we were travelling all day so it did not bother us.

Positive: The property was in an excellent location, walkable to everything it was spotless and they had the best help, the manager, Joan was knowledgeable about everything. He knew the whole history of the hotel. He knew all the restaurants. He was just a pleasure to talk . I have to say that everyone that worked in the hotel was a pleasure to be around also, if you stay there, make a point to eat at the restaurant. I believe it was one of the best restaurants in the area and a great experience.

Positive: Lovely, very special building. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Negative: Let down by old, tired carpet in room and common areas and some tired, stained furniture in foyer. Plug didn't work in basin in room. Paying in advance when they had my credit card details to charge was a little unnecessary.
